If you get annoyed with partner don't rush to pack them in, sleep on it and give it a good think, cause you could regret it later and later it may not be so easy to change your mind. You pack them in, they get annoyed and get used to it and maybe go and see another person, then you are stuffed, you have been replaced and they have got other ideas.  Be sure about what you want before you say this. Never say it in text or on phone if you can help it as they can misinterpret it, on purpose maybe too, insisting you said this when you really said that and such. Never let them say they will sit and have a long chat with you about it if you are sure, there is nothing to chat about, they just want to persuade you to change your mind.

This makes sense to me too. You can often regret things you do in a rush, it can be foolhardy to get all worked up about something and you could get it all wrong - maybe it is that time of the month or you misheard or were already in a bad mood.

My husband went off and left me two years ago, not seen or heard from him since. Miss him terribly. It's awful. But I had told him to go, I kept moaning and going on at him and he snapped and off he went. Don't make the same mistake I made and push someone to go if you are not sure you want to be without them. You could have the same thing happen - the person goes never to be heard from again. You don't even know if they are on their own or with someone else or if they are ok.
