My ex and me were living together, was told by everyone who knew him that he adored me and worshipped me and I had transformed him into a wonderful adult. They said he was babyish and silly before he met me, that he was now someone they were proud of, then I found out he was seeing this plain ordinary girl and sneaking around all the time telling her the same things he told me, how it hurt, it hurt so much. Beware girls, this could be you.

My partner ? is nagging me to let them move in with me. I don't want to. I prefer living alone and being on my own when it suits. But whenever I touch on that he gets very angry and starts an argument. Making me even more determined not to! Why would I want to live with someone who does not care whether or not I am happy?

I never understand why women are so naive that they rush to move in with a guy. Sometimes they buy a place with him and have all of the financial obligations and risks, the biggest ones, the most time consuming and complicated ones, or they have a baby with him, another huge thing which is complicated, yet the bit that most women long for - that bit of paper and sharing the same surname and wearing that special ring - he holds back from you. Let me tell you why.  I went into a chat room and lots of guys hit on me. When I asked if they were married, all this in private chats, they say well sort of no. What they mean is they live with a woman and get her to pay the bills, or at least a lot of them, do the housework, washing and give them regular sex stuff and someone to talk to when they get home.  But they still go out with the lads, they still flirt, they still have a one night stand if they get the chance to. And they go in chat rooms saying no I am not married to try to get them. They tell themselves this is fine because they are "single" and try to avoid going into the stuff about living with a woman despite being single because they know a lot of women won't meet up with a guy who is married or living with a woman.

Strictly speaking they are telling the truth! They are legally single.  You might have to ask them loads of questions before you get the right question or answer that throws light on the real deal.

These guys often go to massage parlours and brothels,  I've had them telling me about it, and how they resent paying there. So they say to me or someone else hey, let's meet up on friday morning and do it in the back of my car or whatever.  Great for them, if you are stupid enough to agree, it saves them paying at the massage parlour friday morning! Myself when I meet up with a guy it's not out of a chat room, that is just for chatting, it's not just for sex, they can pay for that, if the guy isn't free to fall in love and see me properly then it does not happen. Properly means we go on dates and spend a lot of time together if it works out. Not just an hour here and there to help them out and save them money.

I've spoken to women who have met such guys and then say oh dear poor little me. He promised me he would ring the day after but he did not. Wow. You really thought a low life who would lie to and cheat on his girlfriend would keep a promise to a woman he does not know?

If you love each other and got it right get married, no point to pissing about and sort of being together instead.  If you are unsure then date instead, don't even move in together.

Jesus. You peeps go into so much deep intense detail. Just enjoy your life and forget figuring it all out, it still happens the way it wants to whatever you want.

Living together can be as bad as marriage. Don't tie yourself up with stuff together so you can walk away if you change your mind. Be your own person, that way they appreciate you more and try harder to keep you keen.

I have to wonder what made you go out with each other in the first place as you describe him as babbyish and silly was the attaction becouse you thought you could model him into what you wanted. It clearly didn't work and he went of to find someone else.
