We live near London. Where is the best place to go on a quiet honeymoon where it is not so busy and chock a block with traffic? The lake district seems to be popular, so does the seaside places. Blackpool might be too flashy.

Had a terrific honeymoon with wife (we are now divorced). We saved up and went to Australia, she had always wanted to go there. We saw Barry Humphreys on stage, being Dame Edna Everage, saw loads of kangaroos, it was the works. Each second was exciting and fun, but look where we are now, she is with another guy and I am single and not wanting to ever get married again. Honeymoons are no guarantee of being right for each other or happy ever after.
