I had bought a lot of houses with the money I worked hard for, but found it was a lot of hassle to see to tenants, who would sometimes be very difficult - there was one who kept deliberately putting things down the toilet and drains and expected me to keep paying for a plumber to fix it and other stuff like that. I decided life was too short and sold them and went into stocks and shares instead. So much simpler. And made more profit in a lot less time.

Don't get involved in stocks and shares if you are having to watch every cent. And never ever if you will be needing to pull out by a certain date. You need to be able to leave your money there until it makes a good profit, not where you need to grab it back before then.
