Forget what all the losers say. Money matters a lot. Without it what happens if you need to rent a new home, you would need money to pay for all sorts then, or if you need a new car, if you need to travel on a long journey and do not want to risk being a hitch hiker, or you want to buy furniture, you cannot walk into a furniture shop and say hey I don't value money, it does not matter to me, so I want these chairs free. You need it for water, gas, electricity, food, clothes, everything costs. Even if you are lonely and miserable you are better off with a lot of money it is far better to be lonely and miserable with money and living in comfort with lots of nice food etc than it is to be lonely and miserable and starving or eating crusts of dried up old bread.

Yes I agree. Only rich people go on about not needing money. I knew a minister's wife who went on about how wrong it was for people to get paid when they work as God would provide. It was easy for her to say, her husband got a proper salary from the church, more than enough to live on plus a lot of the parishioners would pay for their holidays (expensive nice ones), new cars etc  - presumably to buy their place in heaven. When money is that easy you have no idea.
