What is wrong with people if your relationship is not working out why stay there having another person on the side may be filling some needs but wouldn't it be better to move on and have a better full filling relationship with someone else

It is not as simple as that. Some have a baby, no confidence, job or money or anywhere to go or they still love him.

I knew a woman who stayed with her husband because he was a minister. She lived for her daughters and grandkids, and would spend most of her time being with them or talking about them, if she was not with them she was talking about them and boring everyone to tears with the info. Obsessed is the word to use. They were nice enough but quite ordinary but she spoke about them as if they were the most special people in the world and everything they did was blown out of proportion. She boasted about them non stop over nothing.  A lot of people shunned her because of it. She was not happy with her husband but she stayed because he paid the bills and religion said you must stay married. Found it all quite sad.

Maybe she could have had a better life but she never seemed to consider it, seemed resigned to how it had to be this. She died of cancer, tragic, only in her 60's and it was cervical cancer. She had told me a few times about how she hated having sex with her husband, and this had killed her.

I knew a guy once who was not happy with his wife, he could not afford to separate or leave her, he did some really dumb things then, he got her pregnant, so stupid when it is not working, and adds to expenses,  then he went on Tinder looking to meet up with other women, he did not tell any of them he was married.  He met a few, told a lot of lies, got one of them pregnant and hey ho had bigger and bigger problems. He was clueless about relationships and women and saw them as a convenience for when he fancied sex, it went wrong, he should have seen it coming.
